Cherry Apple Whiskey Sour Popsicles
posted on 23 Jun 2011
I had a friend email me the other day that he found a delicious brand of margarita-flavored popsicles at his local liquor store recently, and he wondered if I'd heard of them. Considering he couldn't remember anything about them, including the brand name, I couldn't help him out much.
But it put the idea in the back of my mind that I might like to try a boozey pop if I ever got a chance, and now a few days later I stumbled across this recipe for a whiskey sour popsicle. It's like fate or something - I'm going to a barbecue this weekend and I was asked to bring something.
I'll list the ingredients you'll need below - head on over to Endless Simmer for the instructions and a homemade sour mix recipe to go in them. I was thinking Jim Beam's Red Stag might fit for these bad boys - after being pretty hot for it when it first came out I haven't had it in a while, but it seems like a natural fit.
